Drop In Labs · AI build studio · Sydney

The software you couldn’t justify building now takes two weeks.

Fixed scope, fixed price, and the person building it answers the phone. Click through our work before you ever speak to us.

What we do

Six kinds of work. All of it shipped in weeks, not quarters.

  • Internal tools

Replace the spreadsheet everyone is scared to touch. Jobs, quotes, invoices and rosters, in software built around how you actually work.

    Two weeks

  • AI automation

Put AI to work on the admin. It reads the inbox, drafts the reply, files the task, and a person signs it off.

    Two to four weeks

  • Websites

Marketing sites that load fast, look expensive and turn visitors into enquiries and bookings.

    Two weeks

  • Apps and platforms

Customer-facing products, portals and dashboards, from the first prototype to something people pay for.

    Four weeks and up

  • Games and interactive

Games, playable prototypes, animation and video. The work that makes people stop scrolling.

    Two to six weeks

  • Data and insight

Pull your data into one place and make it answer questions. Reporting, detection and dashboards you can trust.

    Two to four weeks

Ideate on the Monday. Live a fortnight later.

Fixed scope, agreed in writing before anything is built. Fixed price, half up front. No discovery phase, no change orders, no team you never meet. You are clicking on it within days, not seeing it for the first time at the end.

A two-week build sprint is $12,000. A week-long audit is $3,500. Anything bigger is quoted and broken into sprints, so nobody signs a six-figure unknown. Anything smaller, stranger or harder to size, just ask and we will price it. Nothing here starts at six figures, because it no longer has to.

Some of our work.

A few recent pieces. Most of them are live, so click in and have a look around.

01 / 05

  • Line drawing of a football in flight with a stadium floodlight behind it.

    Xtar

    Live

Instant fantasy football, played across football history

Pick an era, build your XI and play a whole cup in minutes. A playable prototype with its own art direction, motion and game logic.

    Open Xtar
  • Line drawing of a tradesperson’s work ute with a ladder on the roof rack.

    Harbourline

    Live

Job tracking for a nine-person electrical contractor

Rebuilt from the spreadsheet the business ran on. In week one it found $40,515 of finished work that had never been invoiced.

    Open Harbourline
  • Line drawing of overlapping message bubbles funnelling into a tidy stack of cards.

    Cadence

    Live

An operations platform that reads the team’s chat and email overnight

It files the tasks, decisions and risks nobody wrote down. Every one links back to the message it came from, and nothing changes until a person accepts it.

    Open Cadence
  • Line drawing of a sauna bucket and ladle with steam rising and ice cubes beside it.

    Ember & Ice

    Live

A marketing site for a four-location recovery studio

Sauna and cold plunge across four Sydney locations, with bookings, memberships and a first-visit offer.

    Open Ember & Ice
  • Line drawing of a web of connected nodes with a magnifying glass over one of them.

    Surge Trace

    Blockchain fraud detection for casinos

Every finding names the rule that produced it and carries evidence you can re-run, so nobody has to trust a black-box score.

    • 6.59m labelled wallets
    • 72 casinos
    • 21 chains

Who we are

Small on purpose.

Drop In Labs is an AI build studio in Sydney. No account managers, no layers, and no discovery phase that takes longer than the build.

The person who scopes your project is the person who builds it, and the same person picks up the phone after it ships.

We use AI to do in two weeks what used to take a team three months, and we pass that saving on in the price.

Start a project

Tell us what you want to build.

An idea, a problem, a half-written brief. Two or three sentences is plenty. If it doesn’t look like a two-week sprint, send it anyway and we will quote it.

  1. 01

You get a reply from the person who would build it, not a scheduling link.

  2. 02

A short call, where we tell you honestly whether two weeks is realistic.

  3. 03

A scope and a fixed price in writing. If it is not a fit, you hear that instead.

No list, no sequence, no newsletter.
